Frequently asked questions

Who can apply?

You must be at least 18, a resident of the United States (with a valid SSN) or Canada (with a valid SIN), and have a verifiable source of income. We lend in all U.S. states and all Canadian provinces and territories.

How much can I borrow?

From $1,000 to $35,000, with terms of 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months. APRs are fixed, from 9.99% to 35.99% (up to 34.99% for Canadian borrowers).

Will applying affect my credit score?

No. We don't pull your credit report to estimate your payment or review your application — we decide based on the information you give us — so applying doesn't affect your credit score.

How long does a decision take?

Most applications are reviewed within one business day.

How do I make payments?

Payments aren't taken through the website. Once your loan is funded, our team emails you our payment details privately, from an @loanease.top address, to the email on your LoanEase account. Pay using those details and always quote your payment reference (it starts with LE- and is shown on your loan page) so we can match your payment. We record it and email you a receipt, usually within 1–2 business days. Haven't received the payment details? Reply to any LoanEase email or contact us and we'll resend them.

How do I know a payment request is really from LoanEase?

Only trust payment details sent from an @loanease.top email address. We will never ask you to pay to a different account by text, phone or social media. If anything looks different or you're unsure, contact support@loanease.top before paying.

Can I pay extra or pay off my loan early?

Yes, at any time, with no penalty. Anything you pay beyond the amount due goes toward your principal: your monthly payment stays the same and your loan ends sooner, so you pay less interest. To pay off in full, pay the “Payoff amount today” shown on your loan page — your remaining principal plus the interest built up so far in the current month. It rises a little each day, so if you'll pay on a later date, ask us for the exact figure.

What's the difference between “Remaining principal” and “Payoff amount today”?

Remaining principal is the part of the amount you borrowed that you haven't paid back yet. Payoff amount today is what it would take to close the loan today: the remaining principal, plus interest for the days so far in the current payment period, plus anything overdue.

What if my payment arrives a few days late?

There's a 10-day grace period. If we receive your payment within 10 days of the due date, there's no late fee — and if a fee was added before we recorded your payment, it's removed automatically. After 10 days, a $25 late fee is added to that payment.

Are there any fees?

No origination fee and no prepayment penalty. If a payment is more than 10 days late, a $25 late fee is added to that payment (one fee per missed payment).

How do you protect my information?

Passwords are hashed, sessions use secure cookies, and sensitive data like your SSN or SIN is encrypted at rest. Only the last 4 digits are ever displayed.

Is LoanEase a real lender?

Yes. LoanEase lends directly to borrowers in the US and Canada — we review your application ourselves, send approved funds to your verified bank account, and service the loan until it's repaid.
